The History of HOWL'd

The History of HOWL'd

In the year of 2011, a chilling haunt known as a Haunt On WestLake Drive first emerged on a quiet and dark street in Lacey, Washington. What began as a mere garage spectacle on All Hallows' Eve has since grown into a frightening landscape, complete with sprawling and spooky displays encased in shrouds of fog and eerie lighting and a haunted house teeming with sinister actors and petrifying scares that are not for the faint of heart.

As fate would have it, a relocation back to the haunted grounds of Illinois in early 2024 prompted a name change. No longer bound to Westlake Drive, the haunt shed its former identity and embraced a new moniker: HOWL'd. A clever play on it’s original title, fitting seamlessly into the spirit of the Halloween season.

HOWL’d Creator

Greetings and welcome to HOWL’d!

Since I was but a wee one, All Hallow's Eve has held me in its thrall. I can still recall a long-ago memory of my friend's mother, who would transform her yard into a cemetery, cloaking herself in a witch's garb crafted by her own hands. Biding her time amidst the fallen leaves, she'd sprinkle the path with little "snaps," ensuring that any who ventured forth to claim their treats would meet with a fright. As the years passed, I found my calling in crafting diabolical displays and terrors to share with all who dare to partake. I relish the challenge of conjuring fresh horrors and am eager to hear your feedback. Send word by raven or share your tale of terror in the realm of social media.

Thanks for visiting and Happy Haunting!
